Let's first take a look at the before and after comparison of Template content creationοΌ
VS
The main modifications after template iteration are focused on the following aspects:
1οΌAssets Replacement: Sequence frames/static images/texts.
2οΌAssets HidingοΌAs the original template was related to make-money online, we have hidden the relevant elements.
3οΌAssets AdditionοΌAdded a glowing image in Scene 1. / Added a redirect button in Scene 2.
Animation AdditionοΌAdded animation to the second sequence frame ball&glowing image in Scene 1. / Added animation to the redirect button in Scene 2.
Event AdditionοΌAdded new response events under the existing event in Scene 1 to make the second sequence frame ball disappear. / Added a redirect event to the button in Scene 2.
Translated the modified and added text into multiple language versions and adjusted the formatting.
Adjusted the layout and adaptation of added assets for landscape.
Next, we will provide a detailed illustration of each step.
Note: There are two options available for the "Assets Replacement" step.
In this case, we choose to first use the "Feature Changer" to replace all the assets and then [Copy to Ad Editing] to complete the subsequent iterations.
First, select the template and choose "Feature Creation" - "General Creation."
1-1οΌImages
Hover over the "+" icon to view the size requirements for the current image asset slot. Uploading assets in the specified dimensions will ensure better template adaptation!
Taking the background image as an example, click "Replace."
Choose "My Assets" - "Upload" to import the background image that has been prepared in advance.
Click the "+" icon in the bottom right corner of the image, confirm the cropping in the pop-up window, and then click "Confirm" to successfully replace the image.
For images that are not needed, such as the welfare card slot, you can choose to hide or replace them with transparent images.
1-2οΌTexts
For text that is not needed, such as disclaimer text, you can choose to hide it or clear the text content directly.
For text that needs adjustment, you can directly modify the text content in the text box.
Clicking on the brush icon next to the text allows you to fine-tune the style of that text.
The main asset types that need to be replaced in this case are images and texts. By following the above operation methods, you can replace all the assets one by one.
Once the replacement is completed, click the "..." button in the upper right corner and select "Copy to Ad Editing". After confirming, you can enter the Content editor to continue with the subsequent content creation.
Please note that the "Parkour & Left-right Select" template is based on the BlackJack gameplay. In the "Feature Changer", there is an overlap in the card slots, which prevents both "X8" and "X32" from being replaced simultaneously. You will need to enter the Content editor to replace one of the image slots separately.
Click on"Gameplay Template " - "Edit gameplay"
Select layer [6] under the [Level_2] group, click [Replace], and complete the replacement of the "X32" image
Then [Back to Project]
2-1οΌFor the new asset in Scene 1: The Glowing Image
Select the original layer [player_card_light] and delete the "Alpha Easing" animation.
Copy that layer below the layer [xlz_Player_card_5], then hide the original layer.
2-2οΌFor the new asset in Scene 2: Redirect Button
Click to open the "Project Assets" window and upload the image for the redirect button.
Add it to Scene 2 and adjust its position and size accordingly.
Add the text "DOWNLOAD," and adjust its content and style on the right side.
Group the newly added button, and drag and drop it into the [pop-ups] group.
1οΌTo add animation to the second sequence frame ball & glowing image in Scene 1:
Select the layer [xlz_Player_card_5] in Scene 1
Add Animation - Exit - FadeOut. Set the parameters as followsοΌ
Select the recently copied layer [player_card_light_end]
Add Animation - Exit - FadeInOut. Set the parameters as followsοΌ
2οΌTo add animation to the newly added redirect button in Scene 2:
Select the original button group [btn_last], click the "Copy" button above.
Then select the newly added button group [btn_download] and click the "Paste" button above. Choose "Paste the layer animations only" to quickly set up the animation.
Since we want to achieve an alternating scaling animation between the two button groups, you can adjust the "PulseFront" animation of one of the button groups.
For example, you can change the starting scale of the [btn_download] group from "1" to "1.1" and the ending scale from "1.1" to "1".
Click on "Event" in Scene 1
Under "Custom Event,"οΌrefer to the image belowοΌ Add response event - Play all animations from the beginning. Select the layers [xlz_Player_card_5] and [player_card_light_end] in sequence.
Similarly, you can use the "Copy-Paste" function to quickly achieve this.
In the previous step, we have already copied the button group [btn_last], so you can directly select [btn_download], click the paste button, and choose "Paste layer events only" to quickly set up the event.
After completing the adjustments mentioned above, we can proceed with multilingual translation for the modified and newly added text.
Click on "Global Settings" and click on the brush icon next to "Default Language" to open the language translation window.
Select the target language as Chinese. Only check the modified and newly added text for translation. Then, click the "Translate" button to perform intelligent translation.
If you are not satisfied with the translation result, you can make manual adjustments directly in the text boxes. After all adjustments, click on "Submit" to apply the multilingual translation.
Select the text layer to fine-tune the text style in Parameter Setting Area on the right side.
If you want to add a new language version, click on "Add Language."
The translation process is the same as mentioned above.
To adjust the layout & adaptation for the newly added assets in landscape mode:
Select the newly added button group [btn_download] and click on the "Reuse vertical screen position configuration" option on the right side to adjust it.
Then, individually adjust the position of the two button groups to the appropriate locations.
After completing the entire production, you can perform an overall preview for different device models, languages, and orientations (portrait and landscape).
