1.Project Assets Intro

  • The Project Assets contains all the assets of the project, including those added to the canvas and those uploaded but not yet added.

  • Added assets in the canvas are marked with a "Added" badge.

  • Your uploaded personal assets, used public assets, and assets included in template projects created with PS will appear in the Project Assets list.

  • You can filter the status of project assets (added and not added) using the icon on the right side. It helps you manage the usage of assets within the project.

2.Two Paths for Uploading Assets

1)Upload from local device

Click the "Upload" button in the Project Assets to open the file selection dialog. You can select multiple files to add to the Project Assets.

2)Upload by dragging and dropping

You can add multiple files to the Project Assets or Canvas by dragging and dropping them into the dialog.

After the asset is uploaded successfully, a pop-up window will appear in the bottom right corner to indicate the successful upload.

3.Operations in Project Assets

1)Adding Assets to the Canvas

Click the "+" button in the bottom right corner of the corresponding asset in the Project Assets to add it to the canvas of the current scene.

2)Replacing Assets

  • Click the "..." button in the top right corner of the corresponding asset in the Project Assets to select a replacement asset.

  • Only "Added" assets can be replaced, and all nodes associated with the original asset will be replaced with the target asset.

  • If you only want to replace a specific asset, you can select that asset layer and use the right-side parameter adjustment area for replacement.

There are two ways to replace:

① "Local Upload": Opens the local upload dialog, requiring you to select a locally available asset of the same type and format for upload and replacement.

② "Choose from Library": Opens a dialog where you can choose a corresponding type of asset from "Public Assets," "My Assets," or "Project Assets" for replacement.

3)Downloading Assets

Click the "..." button in the top right corner of the corresponding asset in the Project Assets and select "Download" to download the asset to your local device.

4)Cropping/Editing Assets

  • Click the "..." button in the top right corner of the corresponding asset in the Project Assets, then click "Crop" to choose the cropping/cliping option.

  • For image assets: It allows cropping. After clicking, a cropping dialog will appear. Crop the image to the desired size and click "OK". A new copy of the asset will be generated and replace the original one.

  • For video/audio assets: It allows cliping. After clicking, an cliping dialog will appear. Clip the duration of the audio/video to the desired length and click "OK". A new copy of the asset will be generated and replace the original one.

5)Deleting Assets

  • Deleting a asset will remove it from the Project Assets. If the asset has been added to a scene, all nodes using that asset will also be deleted.

4.Asset Upload Format Requirements

Under "Project Assets," there are video, audio, images, and motion graphic categories.

Please note: If you need to add a large number of assets to your project, it is recommended to compress the files externally based on the file size requirements below. This will help control the package size within the range required by the corresponding distribution channels. Package Size Estimation Content Editor - Download&Apply

1)Video

  • Format: MP4

  • Size Requirement: Less than 3MB

  • Recommended Dimensions: Not exceeding 750*1334

  • Bitrate: Within 128kbps.

3)Images

  • Format: PNG,JPG

  • Size Requirement: Less than 1MB

4)Motion Graphic: Divided into Sequence and DragonBones

4.1 Sequence

  • ZIP format containing multiple PNG files (Note: The ZIP archive can only contain either one folder or multiple PNG files directly.)

  • Maximum File Size: Less than 8MB

  • Naming Restriction: PNG file names should not contain spaces. Additionally, they should end with a number and be numbered sequentially.

  • After uploading, you can drag and adjust the order of the sequences in the parameter setting area on the right side.

4.2 DragonBones

  • ZIP format containing 2 JSON files and 1 PNG file

  • Maximum File Size: Less than 1MB

  • The resource grid inside the DragonBone needs to be disabled.

Please Note: Playturbo does not support Spine animation files. Spine animations are structured differently and are not compatible with our current logic. We also do not recommend converting Spine files into DragonBones format, as this can cause animation issues. If you want to upload animation assets, please use DragonBones or image sequences.
