💡Video Template - Function Intro

  • Playturbo has categorized and organized high-quality video materials available in the market to create Video Templates with different Video directions.

  • Video Template aims to address the challenge of lacking inspiration when starting from scratch. By quickly replacing scenes or modifying elements within the template, it helps enhance the expressiveness of your video content.

  • Video Template consists of "Full Video" and "Scene." You can utilize the 'Full Video' template to replace resources within it and rapidly generate the required video materials; you can also use 'Scene' for customized combinations to produce materials and improve their effects.

💡Video Template - Operation Intro

1.Use Video Template to create projects

There are currently two ways to create a [Video Template] project:

1)In 'Video Templates'

① In the 'Templates' - 'Video Templates', filter for 'Video Template' to obtain available Video Template.

② Click on the template thumbnail to preview the template.

③ Click on the template and then click the 'Crop Video' button to create a video project using the template and further edit it within the project.

2)In 'Video Projects'

① In 'My Projects' - 'Video Projects', click 'Create Project' - 'Video Editing' to create a new video editing project.

② After entering the project, click "Template" on the left side of the editing page to view all current video templates.

③ Click the "+" button in the lower right corner of the template to add the video template to the track.

2.Full Video & Scene

Video Template is divided into 'Full Video' and 'Scene'.

1)Full Video

① You can click "Full Video" to filter the required template, and then click on the template to view the template details.

② You can choose to add the "Full Video" or only parts of the "Scene" of the template to the track.

2)Scene (layman's explanation)

  • "Scene" refers to the division of video content based on the time dimension.

  • "Scene" is composed of one or multiple elements (such as videos, images, text, audio, etc.). A single scene can be considered as a small segment of the entire video project and is a part of the video project.

  • The single/multiple elements within a scene have temporal/spatial structures, meaning multiple elements are distributed along the timeline and have layout structures.

  • Both the scene itself and the multiple elements within the scene can be edited.

  • Note: Scene must be on the main track, and there should be no time overlaps or gaps between scenes.

(An example to understand scenes: If a finished video is divided into three parts: beginning, transition, and ending, you can set up three scenes respectively for the beginning, transition, and ending. Each individual scene can include various elements such as videos, images, audio, text, etc.)

3)Add "Full Video" or "Scene" to the track

After using the template, multiple scenes in the template will be added to the track, and then you can fine-tune and edit the scenes according to your needs.

3.Scene Editing

1)Editing Scenes in the Track Area

Scene as a whole can only be located on the main track, and the default adsorption between scenes cannot be left blank.

  • Adjust the order of scenes: Scenes can be adjusted as a whole by dragging them along the timeline.

  • Deleting Scene: If there is an unnecessary scene, you can select the scene and right-click "Delete Scene" to delete the scene as a whole.

2)Editing Elements Within Scene

  • Clicking the "Edit" button on the scene allows you to edit the elements within the scene.

  • Note: Upon entering the "Edit" mode, it switches to an independent timeline, and any adjustments made will not affect the timeline where the scene is located.

  • In the "Edit" mode of the scene, the dashed line on the timeline represents the duration of the scene. Content that exceeds this duration will not be played or included in the export.

  • The duration of the scene is determined by the duration of the content on the main track in the "Edit" mode of the scene. You can adjust the duration of this content as needed.

  • You can add, edit, and replace all the assets within the scene in the "Edit" mode of the scene.

  • You need to replace the default assets within the scene with your own product assets or public assets for material output purposes.

  • Clicking the "Switch" button allows you to switch between scenes for editing.

  • After completing the "Edit", click "Back" to go back to the overall track editing mode.

Note: After completing the above editing, if there are no further requirements for fine-tuning edits, you can proceed to export the video at this step.

4.Fine-tuning Editing

1)Operations Supported by Elements in the Overall Track Editing Area

In the overall track editing area, the elements support the following operations:

① Add Scene: Clicking the "+" sign after a scene allows you to add a new scene after the current scene.

② Set as Scene: Both images and videos can be set as scenes, while text, audio, and filters cannot be set as scenes individually.

Once set, the newly generated scene will be placed on the main track and will include the selected elements.

③ Move to Scene: You can move elements into a specific scene.

2)Operations Supported by Elements in the Scene Track Editing Area

In the scene track editing area, the elements support the following operations:

① Move to Scene: Move the element to another scene.

② Move Out of Scene: Remove the element from the scene or move it to the overall track editing area.

5.Supplementary: Track Area - Two Editing Modes

The track area is divided into two editing modes, namely 'Scene Timeline' editing mode (newly added in this issue) and 'Traditional Timeline' (the existing timeline editing mode).

1)'Scene Timeline' mode includes the concept of 'Scenes' in the track. It supports combining multiple elements into a 'Scene' to be added to the track, and 'Scenes' must be on the main track. It supports the creation and editing of scenes.

2)'Traditional Timeline' mode is the existing timeline editing mode. In this mode, there is no concept of 'Scenes' in the track. When adding 'Scenes' to the track in this mode, the elements within the scene will be broken up and added to the track.

3)When switching from 'Scene Timeline' to 'Traditional Timeline' mode, if there are scenes, they will be split, and the video effects may differ.

Note: The conversion is irreversible. Please operate cautiously and check the content if you proceed.
